A quarterly birding journal for the Solway and Dumfries and Galloway
QUILLMOOR is written and edited by volunteers and paid for by its subscribers. We publish site accounts, identification pieces, ringing summaries, county records and the occasional argument. There is no advertising in this journal and there never has been.
Four issues a year, in February, May, August and November, since 2013.

QUILLMOOR runs on subscriptions. Twenty-two pounds a year, four issues, posted. No advertising, no sponsored pages, no equipment reviews.

Solway high water offset for eight watchpoints, because a table printed for the harbour is an hour wrong at the merse edge.
Sightings digest
A quarterly digest drawn from the county lists, arranged by site rather than by date so that a plan for Saturday is easy to make.

Every issue since 2013, indexed by species and by site. Subscribers get the full text; the index is open to everyone.
Written by the people who go out
Every piece in QUILLMOOR comes from somebody who was standing on the merse in the weather they are describing. Contributors are not paid, and the editors are volunteers. What that buys is a journal with nothing to sell you.
